We provide you with 31 different elective options beginning in your sophomore year and extending through graduation. Our career and technical majors are provided to county high school students free of charge in collaboration with your local high school.
Career and technical education (CTE) programs provide you with invaluable insights regarding your strengths, interests and future. Experience your career potential in an exciting hands-on, eyes-on, real world environment to help you make sound decisions about college and your career.
Earn elective or practical arts credit for CTE coursework which is recorded on the transcript at your home high school. Many of our courses also include academic credit to further fulfill specific graduation requirements.
Most of our technical majors also offer articulated college credit, certifications, advanced apprenticeship hours and more.
Consider all of the majors in each career cluster then choose your best pathway to explore, experience and excel.
The sprawling campus is home to about 1000 area high school students. The South Tech experience provides students with not only the skills necessary to succeed in the work force, but also the connections needed to get them there. We have established partnerships with area businesses and industries to allow South Tech students to gain real-world experience through internships and apprenticeships.
