FCCLA

At South Tech, FCCLA is a club for students in the Early Childhood and Fashion Design majors.  Involvement in The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) offers members the opportunity to expand their  leadership potential and develop skills for life—planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making and interpersonal communication—necessary in the home and workplace.

The mission of FCCLA is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education.  Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life through
  • Character development
  • Creative and critical thinking
  • Interpersonal communications
  • Practical knowledge
  • Vocational preparation

August 29th—Membership Activity Day

September 15th—Fund-raiser Kick Off Drive

October 29th—Halloween Party

November 24th-26th—Heartland Humane Society Donation Drive

February 13th—Valentine’s Day Party in conjunction with donation drive for the USO

April 23rd—Talent Show (Fee for admission to be donated to Early Childhood annual baby shower.)

May 22nd—End of year picnic
