- Language Arts Bell Ringers
- This course offers on-going workshops in language arts related areas. It is designed to prepare junior level students for the senior year requirements related to portfolio development and competency statement writing. Activities include technical writing, nonfiction reading strategies, presentation skills, and research gathering and cooperative group work projects.
- Enhancement Activities are various lessons that prepare the student for exit from high school. Activities include creating documents needed for post secondary school, work, or other options. Portfolio development, college essay, technical writing, the application process, resume writing, and interview skills make up the bulk of class experience.
- This course is designed to assist Early Child Care students with the written and spoken activities/skills that are included in the curriculum. Technical writing, research, newsletters, narratives, and brochures are the main written activities, while oral presentations, powerpoint, peer teaching, and interview skills make up the spoken activities.
- This course will examine Marzano's instructional strategies through the lens of technology.
